Dear Sirs and Madams at Time Magazine:
From General Colin L. Powell to Private Ryan to my American Viet Vet Daddy, the vote is cast for the American GI in your list of "Person of the Century." Here are my two poems, "TIME" and "An American GI", written with tears of Gratitude to our beloved American GIs, and to the 58,000 plus souls on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Who am I to say? I am the child they saved. I am their adopted baby-san.
