Dear One:

www.gratitude.org/birth.htm
is the birth story of my life (born again) in the USA.  I wish to respectfully share it with you.  No string attached.  Only with love and gratitude.

I have just come back home to California from attending the 28th reunion of The Saigon Mission Association (The last Americans to leave South Vietnam).  The banquet took place on Saturday, May 3, at Ramada Plaza Hotel Gateway in Kissimmee, Florida.  There, alongside Generals Ben Register and Jim Piner, General Homer Smith, at the age of 81, spoke eloquently, as he always has in many documentary films on PBS, of the honor that an American has been blessed with: Being An American.
I read my poem
A Vietnamese’s Schindler
.

God Bless you and God Bless America.

Respectfully,

Linh Duy Vo, Poet
